The nation’s noontime show left their studio in ABS-CBN to move to their new home—the headquarters of GMA.
The longest running variety show in the Philippines welcomes a new era of entertainment by making a historic move to GMA Network. This transfer is a significant mark in the industry as it reflects the commitment of both ABS-CBN and GMA to continue delivering outstanding entertainment to the Filipino people.

The collaboration between GMA Network and ABS-CBN is a groundbreaking development in the landscape of local television, uniting Kapamilya, Kapuso, and the ‘Madlang People’ in a celebration of Philippine entertainment. This momentous partnership was sealed at a contract signing ceremony, attended by the top executives from both companies and the popular hosts of It’s Showtime such as Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, Kim Chiu, Ryan Bang, etc.
With this historic relationship, GMA Network offers its warm welcome to the entire It’s Showtime family, further cementing that the noontime show becomes a valuable addition to the expanding lineup of shows available to GMA’s Kapuso audience nationwide and abroad. ABS-CBN, meanwhile, extends their heartfelt appreciation to the network for opening their doors and providing a new venue to entertain more Filipino people worldwide.
It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis takes to Instagram to pen her genuine and enthusiastic gratitude for this momentous move, saying, “We will continue our journey in making our Madlang People/Kapuso happy!”
Vice Ganda, meanwhile, becomes emotional during his speech at the ceremony: “Dahil sa pagsasama [ng GMA at ABS-CBN], madali magbigay ng tawa, saya, impormasyon, inspirasyon, at pag-asa. Maraming salamat sa pagpili.” He also adds that more Filipino homes will experience “laughter, joy, information, inspiration, and hop” as a result of the shift.
It’s Showtime will begin airing on both the GMA main channel and GTV beginning April 6.
