Bryanboy Signs with Viva Artists Agency. What’s Next for Him?
From dreaming big to making it bigger, Bryanboy returns to the Philippines as the newest signed artist of Viva.
There’s no place like his homeland, even for the career of Bryanboy. Today, the fashion personality officially signed an artist contract with Viva, one of the country’s top management agencies. In a report by MJ Marfori, the “Ninang” of the netizens talked about this new milestone in his career. “It’s very surreal being here. Viva is such a legacy institution,” he says. “It’s one of the pillars of Filipino entertainment, and to be part of it [is] such an honor. Viva will represent me in my career here in the Philippines.”

A full circle homecoming
Further discussing his plans, he explains, “I’ve been creating content for many years. I [want to] take it to the next step. When it comes to fashion and when it comes to style, and my career overseas, it’s quite established. But I feel like I could do more here in the Philippines.” He also acknowledged that a good number of his audience are Filipinos themselves. “Why not grow it?” he asks.
This new venture of the Filipino fashion correspondent bears more significance as Bryanboy celebrates two decades since he started writing in his fashion blog. The platform catapulted him into appearances at cycles 19 and 20 of America’s Next Top Model and personal invitations from maisons for Fashion Week.
Growing along with his audience, he is now more active on TikTok with more than four million followers as of writing. He has also been acquainted with big names in the realm of media and fashion such as Kris Jenner, SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Lisa.

The fashioning and forging of his Filipino path
Although Bryanboy has yet to disclose his plans in the country, it goes without saying that fashion is part of it. What if he and his fellow Viva and Belo baby, Anne Curtis, are already cooking something up? A series of discovering or critiquing today’s Filipino fashion, or a design competition with a reality show level of drama on the side?
Aside from Anne Curtis, Filipino artists who have a knack of fashion such as Nadine Lustre and Vice Ganda are also under the same management, making their collaborations not just possible but also now easier and more accessible. It would be interesting to have them discuss their thoughts on the country’s rich textile weaving, and different fashion interactions of our fabrics and prints. As proven by his tenure in the world of fashion and media, Bryanboy is ready to take Filipino entertainment this time by storm.
