TikTok LIVE Awards 2025: A Night for the Creators

Sometimes, all it takes is a phone, a stand, and a voice to one day, walk the stage for your award.

Held at the Maynila Ballroom in Manila Hotel last 20th of January, the TikTok LIVE Awards formally recognized the roster of talent that has captured hearts, eyes, and ears across the country.

As for the folks that went home with a trophy in hand, here’s the rundown of the night’s awardees:

From the Screen to the Stage

With over 180 creators, partners, and livestreaming agencies in attendance—of the 20,000 active LIVE hosts nationwide, the line separating great from excellent runs thick. Amidst them all, Kamille Abesilla took the crown as TikTok LIVE’s Creator of the Year. Having been an excellent, well-informed voice to the platform through her engaging educational content, she proved that being a positive force came hand-in-hand with being the most entertaining to watch.

Fresh from the global spotlight at Phuket, Thailand’s TikTok LIVE Fest, Ryssi bagged both the Community LIVE Creator of the Year and Global Recognition Award. 

Reflecting on both the wins and her journey, she said “TikTok has given me international stages, greater exposure, and a real-time connection with my fans. My experience at TikTok Live Fest in Phuket was incredible; I loved meeting creators from around the world, celebrating our successes, and helping pave the way for Filipino creators on the global scene.”

How do you make the biggest splash? Or more accurately, make the most buzz on TikTok LIVE? BGYO pushed what was possible with making meaningful LIVE music experiences, earning them the Community Impact Award. On the flip side, Tommy Tiangco—for his work in being a compelling force for good online, took the (arguably sister title) Smile and Service Award.

For a debut show, TikTok LIVE has cemented itself as a relevant and impactful part of the culture’s pulse thanks to the names that have built its foundation.

A milestone and a checkpoint for the ever-growing community in the country, this show was the closing statement for the platform’s most exciting chapter yet—creativity, connection, and compelling storytelling achieved through real-time interaction.
