Besides the traditional ceremonies and star-studded guests in attendance, fans were also on the watch for the bride’s main ensembles for her special day. And indeed, Maine’s looks exuded her personality that always took elegance to an edgier, playful level without crass. With that, here’s a peek of what the newest Mrs. Atayde donned at her wedding.

A pristine slate

For the actual wedding ceremony held at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges Chapel, the bride donned a tube long gown with a waist belt. Serving simple regality, Maine Mendoza paired it with a dainty necklace and drop earrings, as well as a sleek, middle-parted bun.

Simple, uncomplicated, naturally flowing—this has always been how things are for the married couple back when they were dating. And if this was the inspiration behind the television personality’s decision to opt for a minimalist style, then she definitely made the right choice not just with the groom but also with her gown.

Delicate and dainty

For the next part of the celebration, Maine changed into the Asti gown by an Israelli luxury dressmaker called Mira Zwillinger. In a photo shared to a news agency, she still maintained the straight top silhouette, while switching her look with an a-line skirt and intricately beaded and embroidered floral appliqués. The back part of the gown also featured an inverted triangle cut and a two-strap lining for a little peek on one’s skin. It’s the perfect choice for someone like the actress-host who has grown confident in her own sense of self.

Contemporary classic play

Last but not the least, the woman of the occasion went for a mini dress with a contemporary mix of that old Hollywood glamor. The frock had a sweetheart neckline with a one-sided, off-shoulder draping, and matching this technique was another side draping cutting the waist, then a frilled bottom for that vintage feel. Still maintaining her first gown’s no bling design, fashioning the fabric into different ways already made the bride’s party ensemble stand out.
