Created by Hedi Slimane, CELINE’s latest offering is not like the rest in this made-to-order service because it concentrates on the enjoyable experience of exclusivity. Clients can personalize their soon-to-be most prized possession by selecting from a palette of 24 shades, each more swoon-worthy than the last. Whether you’re deep into black, feeling intense with blue, or planning to shine with silver, there’s a hue to match your every mood, and outfit.

But, these aren’t your run-of-the-mill bags slapped together in a factory line. These bags are crafted with the utmost care in CELINE’s very own bag-making paradise near Florence, Italy. Artisans with years of experience cut, stitch, and coax crocodile leather into the iconic shapes of the Triomphe, 16, and Claude bags. And if you’re wondering, yes, it takes several crocodile skins to create just one bag.

The process is as meticulous as one would expect when dealing with exotic leather.  A harmonious scale pattern that’s as pleasing to the eye as it is to the touch is carefully made by the artisans themselves. And with the option to finish your bag’s logo in either gold or silver patina, it’s safe to say that no two CELINE bags will ever be the same.

You’ll need to exercise a little patience, however, as these bespoke beauties don’t just appear overnight. Expect a nine-month wait after placing your order. Good things, especially those made from crocodile leather, come to those who wait.
