Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga

Every now and then, a love team comes onto the scene and captures lightning in a bottle. Such is the case with Andres Muhlach and Ashtine Olviga. Their pairing as the main characters on Ang Mutya Ng Section E captured the attention of the new generation, turned AshDres into certified rising stars, and has kept fans waiting with bated breath for their next move. Following their breakthrough in 2025, which included their first movie as a love team, we’re excited to see more from Andres and Ashtine as artists and as a love team as they put their stamp on the industry.
Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji

Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, or RabGel to their fans, arrived on our screens as the leads of the Viva One series Seducing Drake Palma. The two already showed their potential on another Viva One series, Ang Mutya Ng Section E. But Seducing Drake Palma opened the doors as a love team to watch, and they followed up the hype with A Werewolf Boy, their first movie as a love team that showcased a more dramatic turn from the duo.
Kyle Echarri and Kai Montinola

When a young actress ready to make a name for herself in the industry and a young actor coming into his own as a Gen Z leading man team up, the energy is going to be there, and that’s what we’re getting with Kyle Echarri and Kai Montinola. The two Cebuano artists first captivated viewers on an episode of MMK where they portrayed viral content creators and couple Hajie Alejandro and Lenie Aycardo. Their onscreen chemistry continued as Ice and Olsen in the action-drama teleserye Roja, showcasing how Kyle and Kai have the spark as a budding duo.
Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca

Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca became breakout stars in their own right when they won Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition season 1. Not only did the show reignite their passion to continue in showbiz, but it also gave us a new duo to watch. Inside and outside PBB, it’s clear that Brent and Mika found a support system in one another as two people with the same personality who understood each other. Following their supporting roles in Call Me Mother, Brent and Mika are set to appear on the series The Secrets of Hotel 88, where we’ll get to see more of this charming duo.
Mutya Orquia and Kolette Madelo

The beauty of pairings is that they can pop up unexpectedly yet still get viewers talking. Just look at Mutya Orquia and Kolette Madelo. The two Gen Z actresses became the talk of the town at the start of the year when it was revealed that their characters on the thriller series What Lies Beneath were in a relationship. They played two teenagers who loved each other but had to keep their relationship a secret from the town’s prejudice. Despite their short screen time, the chemistry was palpable, and it was a breath of fresh air seeing a Girls Love storyline be positively portrayed on a mainstream teleserye. We hope to see more of this duo, as well as more women-centered romance in local television.
Gab Lagman and Hyacinth Callado

The two young actors first landed on our radar when they led the series adaptation of Chasing in the Wild in 2024. As basketball captain Sevi and spoiled cheerleader Elyse, Gab and Hyacinth established themselves as a rising love team, thanks to their fun chemistry and dynamic on-screen relationship. They then followed it up by appearing on the Philippine series adaptation of Bad Genius, showcasing a new side of their pairing in the darker show. In 2026, we’re excited to see what else these HyGab has in store for us.
Robbie Jaworski and Angelina Cruz

This budding love team is composed of two up-and-coming actors, Robbie Jaworski and Angelina Cruz. And while they both come from prominent families, the Gen Z personalities have made it known that they are making their own mark in showbiz. They took their first step on the Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino-led series The Alibi, which showed potential sparks in their onscreen pairing. As these two rookie actors continue to develop their craft, we’re looking forward to seeing them further their potential.
Will Ashley and Bianca de Vera

From the first time they worked together on Unbreak My Heart, Will Ashley and Bianca de Vera showed their spark. Their onscreen chemistry is natural and dynamic. It’s the kind you find when two great actors come together and helps bring to life their projects, such as their 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad. With 2026 poised to be a year of opportunities for Will and Bianca, we’re hoping to see them light up the screen again.
Michael Sager and Emilio Daez

PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition gave us duos we didn’t know we needed but now want to see more of. Case in point: Michael Sager and Emilio Daez. While Michael and Emilio were evicted early on in the season, they both proved themselves to be smart, outgoing, and well-spoken individuals, which made for a duo that clicked and made sense. They have undeniable charm together, and whether it be on a project or hosting events, we hope to see more of Michael and Emilio on our screens.
Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene

Fans of Viva One’s University Series adaptations saw the potential with Wilbert Ross and Bea Binene. And now that they are leading their own show with Golden Scenery of Tomorrow, Wilbert and Bea’s chemistry and charm are out in full force. As Avianna “Via” Diaz and Larkin “Arkin” Sanchez, the two light up the screen, and we’re looking forward to seeing the duo continue to flourish in 2026.
