7 Showstopping Alexa Ilacad Performances on Your Face Sounds Familiar
Alexa Ilacad has been a familiar presence on screen since she started acting as a kid. But the child star-turned-young actress is equally as talented on the mic as a singer and occasional musician. She has the vocal prowess and stage presence to match her skills, and those were put on full display during her run on the celebrity impersonation reality competition series Your Face Sounds Familiar.
Competing on the show’s fourth season, Ilacad made a name for herself among the other contestants as a determined performer who gave 100% in each of her celebrity transformations. From current pop stars to music legends, Alexa portrayed them all, and did so like the performer that she is. She bagged a total of three wins across the season, and her hard work earned her the “Todo Na ‘To!” award. On top of that, Ilacad ranked overall 2nd place of the season with a final score of 93.50%, just 0.5% away from the season’s winners, JM Dela Cerna & Marielle Montellano.
Each week, she consistently delivered with performances to remember. With that, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite transformations she did on the show.

Chappell Roan
Performing Pink Pony Club as Chappell Roan, Ilacad came out of the gate swinging. The look alone deserves its flowers with the stunning makeup and accurate costume. But it’s made even better with her commitment to the role, something she’d show in the succeeding weeks. The fact that this was Ilacad’s debut performance for the season proved that she meant business.
Rufa Mae Quinto
If you want to know just how much of a chameleonic performer Ilcada is, watch her impersonation of Rufa Mae Quinto performing Booba. She captured the comedy icon’s mannerisms down to fine detail, and did it in front of Mae Quinto herself, no less. It was her funniest performance of the season that served as a respectful homage and tribute over parody or mockery, which earned Ilacad a well-deserved win for that round.
Jennie Kim
Ilacad channeled her inner pop star for her impersonation of Jennie Kim performing like JENNIE. She gave it her all as the K-pop superstar, singing, dancing, and rapping live, including the Korean rap. Who wanna rock with JENNIE? More like who wanna rock with Alexa.
Yeng Constantino
It’s one thing to impersonate a celebrity and perform as them. But to do it in front of the actual celebrity you’re copying is another. And that’s exactly what Ilacad did with her performance of Chinito as Yeng Constantino with the artist watching from the crowd. Ilacad put on that dress and red wig from the song’s music video and got the job done taking on one of the OPM star’s signature tracks with the mannerisms, vocals, and moves. In the process, she also made us feel like we’re back in the early 2010s. And just like Chinito’s music video, Enchong Dee made a cameo appearance at the end of Alexa’s performance.
Britney Spears
Britney Spears is one of the most impersonated musicians in the world, with her performance of I’m a Slave 4 U at the 2001 MTV VMAs being one of her most iconic moments. So, Ilacad had expectations to meet. It’s safe to say she met them and then some. From the nasally voice, makeup, costume, and use of an actual Burmese python similar to what Britney held, there’s a reason why Ilacad got her first win of the season with this performance.
Olivia Rodrigo
A Gen Z Filipina transforming into another Gen Z Filipina? It was a recipe for success. Taking on Olivia Rodrigo, Ilacad embodied the young Filipino-American with this performance of drivers license. She captured the singer’s lower register while also showcasing her own powerful vocals that emulated the pop ballad’s emotional tone. This wasn’t the first time Ilacad made waves with an Olivia Rodrigo cover, proving that these two artists go so well together.
Thalia
The performance that got Ilacad her second win of the season, her impersonation of Latin pop star and actress Thalia was a showcase of pure talent that highlighted how much of an all-around performer Ilacad is. She brought the Latina spice to the Your Face Sounds Familiar stage with her take of Maria Mercedes. And what makes this even better is how Ilacad played a young Jessy Mendiola in the 2013 Philippine remake of Maria Mercedes, making it a full-circle moment for the young actress.
