Who Is XONARA, 1Z Entertainment’s First-Ever Girl Group?

There’s a new P-pop girl group in town that’s got people talking, and they haven’t even debuted yet. SB19’s Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy finale concert at the SMDC Festival Grounds on April 18 was a grand spectacle that had everything you’d expect from a concert of that caliber. From the production design, stage setup, complex performances, and more, it was a show unlike any other from the group. But the concert also featured the special appearance of the upcoming girl group, XONARA. And with the way their performance resonated on social media, they’re a new girl group to watch for.

Here Comes XONARA

After initially being teased on social media at the start of April, XONARA hit the stage for a pre-debut performance of their song titled Uy Tabi Tabi, which the members wrote and composed themselves. “Maraming-maraming salamat po sa mainit po na pagtanggap sa amin ngayong gabi. Kung alam n’yo lang po kung gaano kami ka-grateful at ka-blessedpo na makatuntong po sa ganitong stage, kasi dati nandiyan lang naman ako, nangangarap lang naman din kami. Somaraming salamat po,” member Eurekah shared with the fans at the show.

The Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy finale concert didn’t just close out this chapter of SB19’s career, but also welcomed their next one, and that meant showcasing what’s in store for 1Z Entertainment’s future and their growing roster of artists.

Composed of members Eurekah, Ella, Dominique, Tin, Megumi, Lei, and Namie, XONARA is 1Z’s first-ever girl group, and they made a strong first impression with their stage presence, choreography, and confidence. The members also know how to produce and write their own songs, adding to the potential artistry we can come to expect from the group.

The girl group has been in the works at 1Z for a while now as part of their efforts to build and promote a stable of Filipino artists. The company has talked about forming their own girl group back in 2024 with an open search, and it seems that those years of training and development are paying off, with how XONARA had many curious and excited following their surprise performance at the concert.

We won’t have to wait for too long to see more of XONARA as they will make their official debut on May 15. Making your first major public appearance at a massive concert in front of tens of thousands of people isn’t a walk in the park, but XONARA got the job done. It’s safe to say these young ladies have the potential to add a fresh new perspective, sound, and energy to P-pop as the newest rookie girl group on the scene.
